My husband has told me this is not really loss but sorry I did not want to write something really sad! Please note as well when reading this my children are only 5 and 7 so I am only imagining future feelings.. thanks.. not sure if Ping back has worked.

This worked, even if a pingback didn’t! 😀 I’m totally good with not sad LOSS stories, so whatever the level, I’m good. 😉

I caught his comment on another battlers site saying he’d sent one in so did some trolling here to find it 😂 Hopefully next month I’ll pop in and add as I find too!

I was about to have an attack of lazy – an existing piece that fitted. Then I checked the word count. Now I have to think a bit.

Hi again Rachael, I can’t believe how busy I’ve been and how quickly the days whip by! I follow the instructions, first I post my story on my blog, then post the link to it here?

You’ve got it! We’ll add the link to the Stories post when that goes live next week. 🙂 I can completely identify with the whole issue of business and days rushing by. Phew!

Reblogged this on Rachael Ritchey and commented:
Oops! Forgot to share this yesterday. February’s word is LOSS. I hope you are inspired to come up with something fitting or that you’ll read the stories throughout the month. The writers who participate are always pleased to know their stories resonate with someone or bring a laugh or tear or two.

I did notice that! I thought, “woah! Gary’s is already on the list. Fantastic!” 🙂 I’m good with that. I try to add them once a day, but sometimes it takes me a couple days to get to it. 🙂

It’s that time thing. My scheduling is woeful at present for time management. That said if we’re both adding whenever we can it eases another job for you yes 😊

I worried about this months word, that it might be too sad… hopefully not…

I could be. And for me, it has that ring this month as my great uncle passed away this last weekend. Our family feels his loss. ❤ But I think that's opportunity for it to be an inspiring or even amusing word, so whatever you have for us, I'm sure it will be fitting! ❤

Sorry to hear of your sadness, Rachael….

It’s okay. Uncle Dan was my grandpa’s brother. Our family has always been close, and he was a little like a second grandpa, but he was also 82 years old and had been sick for a couple years, so he’s at peace now. We’ll miss him, but as they say: our loss is Heaven’s gain. 🙂
