      • I need to work harder Rachael. I missed the debate laid down by Doug, am behind on reading and here’s the new prompt already! Last month was OK, just really busy. My fault so I need to breathe more 💖

        • Take a breath and no worries. I figured after the strange school year ends you and I could have a discussion about BlogBattle and what we see ourselves facilitating in the future. I appreciated what both Doug and Josh had to say on the subject, and I’ve been thinking on what we can do to make sure our space is one where writers of every level and style feel welcome and challenged. Anyway, that’s a discussion we can have in July. June is going to be a busy one for me, so if July works for you too, we’ll definitely make big plans then! 🙂 I hope June is a good month for you, my friend!

          • Definitely. July sounds good. I did read the discourse and have cogitated on what was said even if I’m not one to air my thoughts openly on here. Not that there was a lot of point eons after the event…

Will no doubt touch base here a few times between then and now….as I have to read your story for Flute yet! I can’t remember the last time you had time to do one😂😂

          • I’m eager to hear your thoughts. I have so much respect for the gentlemen who shared.

It’s a SHORT one for me! 😀 I had a moment of inspiration and a desire to get it out before I lost it, so I’m glad I made the time. So much of it is making the time. I really need to be more purposeful.

          • Quality over quantity I assume then 😂. Seriously though, I totally expect it to be up to your normal standards so no pressure at all. Might just pop over right now in fact 😊

  3. Whew, finally got there! Slowly — ever so slowly — getting on top of things. Not there yet, but I’m making progress on my to-do lists! 😀 Read a couple from last month’s but I’ve still got more to read! I’ll get there… On Gary’s advice, I thought I’d post my story here before I lose track of time even further and the remainder of May slips away from me. 🙂

      • Strangely enough, the biggest stressor here is not covid, but the weather. We’re moderately isolated anyway, so lockdown has a minimal impact, but we’ve still not put our sheep into their summer pasture because the grass isn’t growing. We’ve got plenty of sun and far too little rain, so it’s a peculiar year all round.
On the plus side, I am starting to get more writing done again!

  8. Hi guys! I am so far behind this month, I still need to read everyone’s stories for last month! All a bit chaotic at the moment, just trying to stay afloat 😂 Hope you’re all well, I’ll be reading, catching up on comments, and writing this month’s story when I can squeeze the time in. Get on top of things, Joshua…
